The town of Malgrat de Mar is located on the coast of Barcelona. It is located 65 kilometers from Barcelona, 45 kilometers from Girona and about 10 kilometers from the cities of Blanes and Lloret de Mar, in the south of the Costa Brava.
The easiest and fastest way to get to Malgrat de Mar is by car, taking the C-32 from Barcelona or the A-2 and then the N-II from Girona.
Another way to get to Malgrat de Mar is by public transport. The town has a train station (Renfe) located just in front of Malgrat de Mar beach, a few meters from the town center and less than 10 minutes on foot from Papi Hotels. Malgrat de Mar also has a bus station on Avinguda de la Costa Brava, very close to Francesc Macià Park and just a 10-minute walk from Hotel Papi and Hotel Papi Blau.
You must take the R1 line at the Sants, Plaza Cataluña, Arc de Triomf or El Clot-Aragó (Renfe) train station in the direction of Maçanet-Massanes. The journey takes about an hour and a half and runs every 30 minutes.
If you are coming from Barcelona’s airport, we recommend taking the bus from Terminal T1 to Pl. Catalunya - Andana Central and once there, take the train from Plaza Catalunya station.
You must take the bus at Barcelona Nord bus station in the direction of Blanes’ bus station. The journey takes approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
You must take a train to Maçanet-Massanes station and then take line R1 towards l'Hospitalet de Llobregat. In this case, the duration of the journey will vary depending on the waiting time for the transfer.
If you are coming from Girona’s airport, we recommend taking a bus to the Girona’s bus station, located right in front of Girona’s train station (Renfe).
